A call to prayer

Statement of Faith

We believe in the Trinity of the God head: Father – Son – Holy Spirit.

We believe that God is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, including all life in it’s various forms or kind.

We believe that God sustains all life and is in sovereign control over all creation, including all the dark forces who submit to His authority.

We believe that God is a loving Father, but also a fair and righteous judge who cannot tolerate evil & sin (rebellion).

We believe in Jesus Christ (Yeshua the Messiah) Son of God, who came to earth and lived a short life here in human form identifying with our humanity, died a criminal’s death nailed to a wooden cross to pay the debt / penalty of sin for each and every person born including you, reconciling us back to the Father.

We believe that Jesus was raised from the dead to life on the 3rd day and all the events that are recorded in the Holy Bible and historical writings around the crucifixion, Jesus reappearance on earth in his resurrected body and His ascension back to heaven and who is now seated at the right hand of the Father ever interceding for us until his 2nd coming.

We believe in the commands of Jesus, especially the believers baptism in water, not as a requirement for salvation, but as a symbolic public act of faith, dying with Christ and rising up out of the water symbolic of being cleansed of our sin and raised to a new life, a new creation.

We believe in the Lord’s Supper, also known as Communion which believers in / disciples / followers of Jesus are to commemorate as often as they meet together as a remembrance of his sacrifice, fulfillment of the law and ushering in of the new covenant between God and His people.

We believe in the outpouring & work of the Holy Spirit in us and through us who was promised by Jesus before his death and resurrection.

We believe that the Holy Bible is the highest authoritative word of God given to man by the inspiration and leading of the Holy Spirit, written by at least 40 different authors over an approximate period of 1,500 years.

2 Timothy 3 v 16 – 17 NLT “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

We believe in the final consummation of Jesus as Bridegroom with his bride, the Church ‘Ekklesia’, where we will live for eternity with our God in His full glory & light, where there will be no more pain, suffering & tears, only tears of joy and everlasting peace and love in the new heaven & earth. Revelation 21

It’s all about Jesus (Yeshua)!

He is coming back soon! Revelation 22 v 20
